A 1968 graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Cameron Thomson taught art for 6 years, exhibiting in Glasgow, Dundee, London and New York. In 1978 he focused on ecology, the practice of self-sufficiency and man’s relationship to the environment. His grasp of the connections between different disciplines is the key to his expertise. Rest assured his 20 minutes will barely scratch the surface of the knowledge and wisdom Cameron has accumulated in this field over the last 25 years. He and Moira founded the SEER Centre to demonstrate rural regeneration based on an understanding of climate change, organic agriculture, re-cycling and environmental management. |
